what are the effects of using weight loss supplements under the age of 18?

Monday, 31. March 2008 9:50

kitty asked:

so i have a bottle of weight loss supplements and was wondering if they would have negative effects if i took them. its called “slim seduction” ( womens weight loss supplement) and says its not intended for people under the age of 18. now i have an extremely difficult time losing weight because of my hormone stabilizers (aka. anti-depressants), my inherited slow metabolism, and long term effects of medical steroids i had to take when i was little which cause weight gain. i am fifteen and was wondering if anyone knew if the pills could be potentially harmful, if so i wish not to take them. i’m assuming that the pills would interfere with hormones in order to make weight loss easier, if not please correct my childish assumption.

Feline Friend asked:

I’m quite a big girl but lately i’ve been exercising and eating fiarly healthy, and i’ve noticed my collarbones are becoming more visible, is this signs of weightloss and does this mean other parts of my body are sliming down too?

what is a safe weight loss supplement?

sybil asked:

Is there a safe weight loss supplement that I can take to get started. I have tried watching my diet and portion control but nothing really is working. I will lose maybe 5 lbs but always seem to gain it right back.
