This is a mind boggling number of sites to think about. Worse yet is the fact that many of these sites will be giving you incorrect information, and many more will try to get you to buy quick-fix weight loss solutions that may use dangerous or at the very least potentially dangerous substances.

The goal of Will C Jensen’s Weight Loss Blog is to help you find answers to the three problems of losing weight.  Important Truths

  • Not everything works for everyone. We are all different in physical make-up and thus what works for one may not work for another.
  • Lean muscle tissue weighs considerably more than fat tissue. It is very possible to gain weight in an aggressive weight loss program because you are developing muscle.  Don’t dishearten; consider how much better you feel, how much tighter and firmer your body is getting. The size change will come.
  • There are no silver bullets. If someone says they have one – BEWARE!
  • Weight loss is a participation sport – you have to increase activity as well as control what you eat.

Weight Loss is the beginning; it needs to be accompanied by healthy eating practices, a good exercise program which includes resistance training as well as an aerobic workout, and healthy living which includes moderation in all areas of life.

Be the tortoise not the hare; slow and steady works best for your body. If you stay true to this principle you will have fewer loose skin problems, stretch marks and will be more likely to keep on course. Quick and dirty is usually the beginning of a yoyo weight cycle.
