Younger Teens Taking Weight Loss Supplements?

Hannibal The Cannibal asked:

I keep seeing people between 8 and 14 (average of 13 years-old) asking about taking fat burners and other weight loss supplements. What’s the deal? Seriously, how can someone so young already be giving up on life and trying to take the lazy way out?

No, really, I’m asking.
spคภเรђ๒гครקt: Look, hon, you’re 161lbs. People know you’re fat, so seriously, do you think that you’re going to surprise anyone when you step on the scale tomorrow?

And do you really think you’re going to lost 10lbs overnight with that detox? No, no you aren’t.

Yes, you’re this fat because you are lazy. Just taking one dose of mommy’s detox isn’t going to make you less fat. If you’re embarrassed about your weight, get with the program and get fit. If you’re too lazy to do that, then you have no right to worry, complain, or take diet pills.

And yes, I CAN imagine being that fat. My all-time high was 250lbs.

    Create a video blog…instantly.

People want things fast and with little effort now. They dont want to cook, they want fast-food, they dont want to eat and lift for years, they want muscles now (or ABZ 4 SUMMER), they dont want to put in effort to lose weight, they want to either starve themselves or eat a magical berry and make it all go away.
Overcoming an obstacle is no longer satisfying it seems, and they prefer to go around it or just stop.

I don’t know but it’s always sad to see. It’s not as bad as the 13 year olds who come on here to ask “what’s the best way to make yourself throw up?” or “how long will i have to starve myself to lose X lbs”.

I’m not a girl but I understand there’s a lot of pressure on teenage girls to be thin and they’re too young to realize they’re not invincible so they don’t care if what they’re doing is destructive to their health.

There is a lot of pressure on people to be unnaturally thin, and girls especially lose a lot of confidence as they become adolescents. Yeah, it’s crazy.
